Interpreting
I undertake consecutive and liaison interpretation.
Consecutive interpreting is mainly used at conferences, assemblies, and in smaller groups. The interpreter sits at the table with the delegates or on the platform next to the speaker and interprets the speech into the required language once the speaker has finished speaking. The interpreter takes notes to give an accurate rendering of the speech which may be delivered in sections.
Liaison interpreting is usually used as a link between a small group of people. The interpreter accompanies a group of clients (for example to cultural events, guided visits, factory-visits, formal dinners) and mainly solves the interpreting tasks at different locations, often with various partners. Liaison interpreting is characterized by a more relaxed, informal atmosphere. It is often combined with consecutive interpreting.

- € 150 per day (+ meals and travel expenses)
